Major General Francis Arthur Sutton M.C. (1884-1944) was an English-born adventurer known as "One Arm Sutton" after losing part of an arm at the battle of Gallipoli. He built railways in Mexico & Argentina. Sutton held a commission in the Royal Engineers during WWI. He also mined in Siberia & Korea. Sutton became a Major General for a Chinese warlord and died of dysentery during WWII.
